Quality

Pictured to my left is an old tape measure that was rescued from an estate. The manufacturer went to great lengths to insure the quality of the product. The component parts are sturdy, the case is made of steel, and the product is surrounded with leather ... oh, one more thing. It was made in the U.S.A. Below I have pictured a standard tape measure that you might buy at Home Depot. It was likely made in China. It only cost me 8 bucks. It's a decent tool. You can see I dropped it in some grout or something. It still works OK. If it breaks ... Home Depot is around the corner. It will only cost another 8 to 12 bucks to replace. Whatever ... we're a disposable society ... right? Do you see the problem here? The product below will last five or so years and then get replaced. The product above will last 200 years. It's products like the one pictured above that allows for shows like "Pawn Stars" and "Antique Roads Show" to exist. We used to make stuff ... good stuff! It's actually kind of sad.

This is the reason I decided to make the Golden Swing Thing here in the United States. Made in the USA used to be a banner of quality. I would like to contribute something to restore that sense of quality.

For a limited time, you can get a FREE Golden Swing Thing. Click on the picture above to find out how.
